#1 “A-ha Moment" I Loved My First Job

I came to recruiting as a second career after I worked for many years in Public Relations. That early career time was the most fun I’ve ever had at a job. Everyone was starting their careers, it was creative, we worked till all hours with no responsibilities outside of the office, we traveled around the country. It was great! I met three of my best friends in the world at one of my earliest jobs and we are still the closest of friends. I LOVED my first job and it ended up shaping not just my career path, but also my life.

My personal and professional interests have aligned here at New Grad New Job. Twenty somethings are among my favorite age groups for so many reasons. Helping this important generation (our future leaders!) find their footing in their first job and set themselves up for success and making an impact in our world is my purpose and passion.
